How to Setup your Android Box

You don't need to use the recommended app suggested in the 'Android Device' guide, there are many out there and those included in app stores such as TiviMate but Smarters is something tested and can do quite a lot with the basic features without requiring premium account. If you've ordered a Formuler device(s), it comes with a very powerful proprietary app called MYTVOnline3 (non-pro versions come with MYTVOnline2) and can skip down to the final steps to add your IPTV account.

Overview

Some android boxes are better than others, some can be painstakingly slow so my recommendations for other Android Devices lean towards the higher end stuff.

Enable 'Unknown Sources'

If you own a basic Android TV box or streaming device (Nvidia) then the first thing that you need to do is to Enable Unknown Source, it is because by default Android has restricted its users from downloading 3rd-party apps outside of the google Play Store. Mostly for safety reasons. You should never trust apps from unknown sources.

However, if you are unable to see the Developer Options on your Android Box then please check these steps:

1. On your Android Box, open Settings, Select Security

2. Check the option 'Unknown Sources'

3. Tap Ok

4. Select Trust

5. Tap Ok

6. Select Trust

Now once you are done with these steps then you have to get the Downloader App which is the most important app to get 3rd-party applications installed.

'Downloader' from Google Play

1. Open Google Play.

   • On your android device, use the Play Store app .
2. Find the app Downloader

3. Tap Install

Depending on device, your screen may differ, but the app is from AFTVnews.com

Installing IPTV App via Downloader

Once you get the Downloader you need to use this link to grab the application: https://www.iptvsmarters.com/smarters.apk

1. Launch Downloader on your device, and then you will be asked for permission to access Media, Files, and Photos, just hit the Allow button.

2. Enter in the following address - https://www.iptvsmarters.com/smarters.apk and select Go

3. When the app is downloaded just install it on your device and then click open to Launch.

4. Alternatively, you can go to the Home Screen and then select IPTV Smarters from there to open it.

Launching the IPTV App

With the installation complete, its time to launch the app

1. you can go to the Home Screen and then select IPTV Smarters from there to open it.

1. Once the app is launched you will see the List Users screen where you need to click on the Add New User option.

1. After clicking on it another screen will appear asking for the method to Login Your account. From here you need to click on the Login with Xtream Codes API.

1. Once you did that from the next screen you will be asked to put your Username, Password, and the Portal URL that were provided with.

1. Once everything is filled, just click on the Add User button

2. When the user is added you have to hover over the Live TV, Movies, and Series, and after that Hit the Select button to Download its content.
